Specially Formulated Acrylic Adhesives & Lacquer for Gold & Silver Leaf also Imitation Leaf 100ML Including Brush. 100ML A water-based, acrylic size for gilding. This size will need to dry for approximately 20 minutes before it is ready to gild on to, after which it will remain open indefinitely – this will vary with temperature, climate, substrate, application, etc. Gilder’s 1st choice for water gilding size. Water-based gold size is specifically formulated for every type of Gold or Silver Leaf work. Its tack time is 20 minutes and will hold for up to 24-30 hours depending upon atmosphere and surface conditions. Ideal for larger projects when extended time is required. If unopened and stored between 5° and 30°C, this product has a shelf life of at least 18 months.
